How to play
Play as White against the computer, or switch to two-player mode on one device. White moves first. Each side starts with a king, queen, rook, bishop, knight and three pawns. The three main 4×4 levels and four 2×2 attack platforms make a 64-square board.
Pieces use 3D geometry: rook along one axis, bishop along two equal axes, queen along one, two or three equal axes; knights jump (2,1,0) in any order. Kings step one square in any direction. Pawns advance toward the opposing home level along the vertical axis, capture one lateral square while advancing one level, and promote to queens on the far home level. No castling or en passant.
Check, checkmate, stalemate, and king safety are enforced. Platforms are stationary in this first ruleset. This is a documented house variant, not a claim to implement the official Star Trek tournament rules.
